As an annual event, the Lantern Festival is designed to encourage children to participate in and to learn about the Vietnamese culture. Over the past years, VCA Vic works in partnership with the Footscray Asian Business Association (FABA) to host the lantern festival in Footscray’s Nicholson St Mall during September or October to coincide with the Full Moon Festival in the Eastern Calendar’s August each year.
